Literature

In literature we are learning about Sherlock Holmes and The Engineer's Thumb.
It is about a man who's thumb is cut off. He is a hydrolic engineer and he is called to a place to fix a hydraulic engine. He was told the machine was used to do something with Fuller's Earth but when he gets there he realises that it is used for something much more EVIL. His thumb gets very badly injured while he was trying to escape. So he goes to Dr.Watson and gets it fixed. Then he tells his story to Sherlock Holmes and hopefully he will solve the case.
